Russell Higgins
President
Russell Higgins founded Mandarin Creek Developments Limited in 1988 as a residential land development company and then transitioned the company into a land developer and home builder under the MacPherson banner in the 1990s. Prior to 1988, he was a real estate analyst with The First Boston Corporation in New York City. With over 35 years of experience in the industry and having developed and built thousands of homes in Ontario during that time, Russell is responsible for the overall direction and management of the company.
Russell is a graduate of Upper Canada College and Princeton University.
Joseph Mirabella
Vice President, Land Development
Joseph Mirabella joined MacPherson in 2017, and was promoted to Vice President, Land Development in 2023. With over 18 years of experience in Land Development, he is dedicated to shaping the future of our communities through innovative and sustainable development practices.
Joseph holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning from Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University).
Chris Lawson
Director, Low-Rise Construction
Chris Lawson joined MacPherson in 2017 as Site Supervisor, and was promoted to Director of Low-Rise Construction in 2024. With over 16 years of experience in low-rise construction, he manages the construction of MacPherson’s developments with precision and expertise, ensuring that each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Chris studied Architecture at Mohawk College, before transitioning to Fanshawe College to study Construction Engineering.
Brayden Singh
Director, Finance
Brayden Singh joined MacPherson in 2022 as Director of Finance. With over eight years of experience providing audit & assurance services for a major Canadian accounting firm, Brayden oversees all reporting, financial planning, and analysis, and other finance related activities. As MacPherson’s finance lead, Brayden works directly with the investment, development, asset management, and legal teams on all real estate projects.
Brayden holds both a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Financial Management and a Masters of Accounting from the University of Waterloo and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).
Natalia Skoko
Director, Sales and Marketing
Natalia Skoko joined MacPherson in 2023 as Director, Sales and Marketing, bringing with her 17-years of industry experience in marketing and sales covering a wide range of real estate projects including residential condominiums, purpose-built apartments, and senior housing.
Natalia holds both a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University) and a license with the Ontario Real Estate Association.
Paulette Traves
Director, Customer Service
Paulette Traves joined MacPherson in 2004 and has held multiple positions within the company until 2011. Rejoining MacPherson in 2015, she held the role of Project Manager before being promoted to Director of Customer Service in 2018. With over 20 years of experience in various customer facing roles, she plays a pivotal part in delivering an exceptional client experience to our homeowners. She facilitates homeowner expectations and MacPherson’s obligations under the Tarion New Home Warranty Program.
